Eligibility to write TET:
1. Graduate teacher has been prescribed as BA/B.Sc/ B.Com with 50% marks with B.T./ B.Ed. degree from any recognized university.
2. Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.T/B.Ed) with Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Arabic, Persian, Assamese Language, Manipuri Language or a Degree with any one of the equivalent subjects from a Recognized University and a Degree in Teacher Education (B.Ed.) from a Recognized University.

Age limit: Age of the
candidate should not be above 38 years as on 01.01.2012. Upper age limit
is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Application Fee:
Candidates are to submit the details of their name address and contact
number in a plain white paper to the Post Office along with fee of
Rs.350/- payable at the post office for to obtain an application form. Applications forms are available in post office from 1-10-2012 to 10-10-2012.
How to Apply: The application forms will be issued through designated Post Offices and the filled-up application form along with application fee will have to be submitted in any of these designated Post Offices on or before 30-10-2012.
