Applications are invited from the candidates who
are Domicile of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala,
Pondicherry and Lakshadweep Island for the post of Junior Assistant
(Fire Service) / NE-4 at various airports in the above states in
Southern Region. Total number of post likely to be filled and the
eligibility criteria for the post is as follows. Reservation for
Ex-Servicemen will be applicable as per norms.
Junior Assistant (Fire Service)-NE-4 - 244+1* posts
Age Limit :- Up to 30 years.
(as on 30/05/2013) Age Relaxation 5 years for SC/ST 3 years for OBC and
Length of service extended by 3 yrs for Ex-servicemen.
Scale of Pay :-
12500-28500**. Note:-**On appointment, besides the basic pay of Rs.
12,500/- they are eligible for VDA, HRA,perquisites under cafeteria
approach @ 46% and benefits such as CPF, Gratuity, medical facilities,
Leave encashment etc
Educational Qualifications :- 10th Pass + 3 years' approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Fire with minimum 50% marks (OR) 12th Pass (Regular Study) with 50% marks
Application Fee :- Demand Draft for Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) [non-refundable] drawn in favour of Airports Authority of India, payable at Chennai. SC/ST / Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
