candidates of West Bengal State belonging to District South 24 PGS,
North 24 PGS, Nadia, Murshidabad, Malda, Dakshin Dinaj Pur, Uttar
DinajPur, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri and Coochbehar can appear for open
recruitment rally for the post of Constable(General Duty) in BSF &
Darjeeling, Jalpaiguriin SSB on temporary basis, likely to be made
permanent, in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/-plus grade pay Rs.2000/-
and other admissible allowances to Central Govt. employees from time to
time.
Border Security Force (BSF) - 1185 Vacancies
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) - 165 Vacancies
Age Limit :- Between 18 to 23 years
as on 1st Jan’ 2013. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC
and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Five years of age relaxation may
granted to the children and dependent family members of those who killed
in the communal riots of 1984 and in the year 2002 in Gujarat. The
children and dependent family members of those who killed in these riots
should produce a certificate to that effect from the concerned District
Collectors.SC/ST/OBC relaxation as per Government instructions will be

Educational Qualifications :- Minimum Metric or equivalent from a recognized State/Central Education Board
Application Fee :- Being a rally recruitment,no examination fees will be charged from the candidates for appearing in the recruitment process
How To Apply :- they can report at the Recruiting Centers given in advertisement below on 27th May’ 2013 at 0800hrs along with the filled in application form & admit card download the same from BSF web site WWW.BSF@NIC.IN and original& Certified copy of education certificate/appropriate identification like domicile certificate/Adhar Number/Voter ID Card and Ration Card etc could be accepted for Physical Standard Test(PST)/Physical Efficiency Test(PET). The candidates will be entertained by the PST & PET board for appearing in the recruitment process.
