Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit for Helper is 45 years, below 60 years for Principal, 40 years for other posts as on 01-03-2013. The maximum age at the time of appointment will not exceed 60 years for retired hands. Relaxation of age is admissible as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: INC/ AICTE qualifications for Principal, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer, Degree in Library and Information Science for Librarian, Degree and working knowledge in Computer Operations/ Word processing for LD Clerk, Heavy Motor Vehicle License for Driver and SSLC failed for Helper. Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs.100/- (Rs.50 for SC/ST) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of The Director, SIMET payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
